Hey there everyone, I realize it’s Saturday and I should be getting ready for work instead of writing this, but I just couldn’t resist showing this to everybody. It’s a 30 minute long short called History of America, by the impressive design collective known as MK12. Yes, it’s long(ish). And yes, you should watch every second of it.
You can easily think of it as American romanticism and mysticism vs American scientific domination, a la Josef Buoys. Or you could think of it as America’s historical values vs our present day capitalist machine. Or you can definitely think of it as a totally awesome Cowboys vs Astronauts movie. However you look at it, make sure you correct every American history teacher you have or meet from now on. Have a happy Saturday!
