A Flixist Carol: Introduction

Yes, it’s December. The most magical, cheerful, spend-iferous time of the year. Some of us have to go through a whole year of work and drudgery just to get here. Whether you spend your time off with your family or your friends or alone, silently crying beneath a seasonal mood lamp, everyone has their own holiday traditions. Here at Flixist, many of our traditions involve movies. Some of us like to get our drink on and watch Jingle All the Way. Some of us settle down with some eggnog and watch A Christmas Carol. Tonight, which is the first night of Hanukah, my wife and I will be watching the Rugrats Hanukah special and drinking Manischewitz wine, which is literally the nastiest substance known to man.

This month, in the spirit of the season, your Flixist staff will be writing about their own holiday film-watching traditions, and, most importantly, we want to hear from you too! As the month rolls on, take some time to share your favorite holiday traditions on our community blogs. Do you always hit the movie theaters on December 25th, even if there isn’t anything worthwhile to see?

We look forward to hearing from…
