By There seems to be a recent craze with making feature films based on popular toy franchise lately. With the success of the LEGO films, rumors have begun to leak that Warner Bros’ Warner Animation Group may have a Funko movie in the works. Yes, you read that right those adorable giant headed figures and bobbleheads may be getting their own movie.
A Twitter user who is notorious for leaking and scooping news shared on his feed a picture of the animation studio’s production slate for the next three years. For animation fans, this should come as an exciting and rather interesting development. This isn’t the first time Funko has entered the world of animation as they have done a bunch of cute animated shorts.

Since Funko has partnered with so many well-known properties like Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, DC Comics we will probably see these characters pop up in the film. Although Warner Bros. has yet to announce any official details yet, that is sure to come soon since this leak. Hopefully, this movie is as popular as the recent LEGO films and does as well. As a Funko collector myself, I am curious to see how this plays out on the big screen. Let’s hope WB doesn’t make us wait too long for news since they already have a lot on their plate this year.
