A Zatoichi/Motorhead mash up is something you didn’t realize you needed until now

The Zatoichi series includes some of the most badass samurai films around. Starring Shintaro Katsu, the story centers on a blind swordsman who turns a new leaf as a traveling masseur. His violent past follows him wherever he goes, however. He must atone for his past sins as a yakuza, often by fighting a whole lot of jabronis trying to kill him.

Motorhead is one of the best metal bands of all time. Fronted, anchored, and driven by metal-deity-made-flesh Lemmy Kilmister, Motorhead was fast and punchy as hell. They were also loud, with some claiming they were the loudest band in the world.

Metal City Mayhem made a video bringing two badass things together. Here’s a music video for Motorhead’s “Out of the Sun” comprised of clips from the Zatoichi films.
