A Zoey 101 reboot is reportedly in the works

If you watched the Nickelodeon Channel religiously like many teens and tweens growing up in the ’00s, you probably remember the Zoey 101. Britney Spear’s little sister, Jamie Lynn, helmed the series playing the show’s titular character and we got to experience all the quirky drama that occurred at PCA (Pacific Coast Academy). If a new report is anything to go by, we’ll soon be heading back.

Just yesterday, TMZ reported that Jamie Lynn is in talks with Nickelodeon to bring Zoey 101 back on the air. Jamie Lynn is likely going to reprise her role in a sequel set 10 years later. While she may be speaking with execs right now, nothing is set in stone–yet. Hardcore Zoey 101 fans are waiting with anticipation if the show does indeed make a comeback. I’m assuming if it does get a reboot, Zoey and her friends will probably be navigating college and or full-time careers.

I, for one, am excited. I watched this show religiously here in Canada on the Family Channel when it aired and it was extremely popular. The school, PCA, looked like the coolest boarding school ever and I wish it was real. If you want to relive those memories, you can find it on YouTube and other streaming sites if you look around.

Until we hear from Nickelodeon themselves, it’s all hearsay. Come on, Jamie Lynn, don’t let us down!
