Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter posters sit and stew

0

The first two posters for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter are out, and we see the moody, vampire-killingest president sitting deep in thought. He’s in the same pose both indoors and outdoors. No, not just the same pose — it’s the same central image just differently lit for the two settings. Since the film is an adaptation of a Seth Grahame-Smith novel, we can assume that Abraham Lincoln sitting in a chair is public domain and can be used for whatever. Just add zombies and sea monsters, or maybe put a bird on it.

Produced by Tim Burton and directed by Timur Bekmambetov, the film will chronicle the fictional life-long battle that Honest Abe (played by Benjamin Walker) waged against a confounded confederacy of undead bloodsuckers. No word on if this tale of the Great Vampire-nator will be followed up by Benjamin Franklin: Electric Whoremonger or William Howard Taft: Competitive Eater.

Both posters sit pensively and await your company in the gallery.
