After the Credits: Community promotion time

To some of our readers, the fact that we had planned from the beginning to promote blogs written by the community onto the front page would be met with a hearty “duh.” After all, we are the blogging community for movie people, and the biggest and best part of the community is you. 

So, now that we’re eradicating the last of the site bugs, we’re ready to start putting your work on display for the world to see. I gave some tips for blogging last month, and we’re continuing to see great stuff pop up in the blogs. Haven’t seen your post promoted yet? Trust me, we’re watching those blogs, so keep writing, and know that each and every one of you who has written something so far has the sincere thanks of every member on staff. The more you write and the more of yourself you put into your posts, the more likely it is that you’ll start seeing your posts pop up on the front page and the better the Flixist experience will be for all of us.
