No sense in stretching this into three different posts. *Cracks fingers*

The American Psycho: The Musical has its first act completed, and should have its whole first draft done by early next year. Duncan Sheik is locked in for the music and playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has confirmed that murders will occur in full view of the audience.

Warner Bros. just closed a musical comedy deal that could have Robert Downey Jr. as one of the two lead roles of men whose big-budget musical release just flopped, which has them escaping to a kids theater camp as counselors looking for inspiration. The scripts and lyrics will be written by Brian Yorkey and the music will be composed by Tom Kitt.

The theatrical Enron stage play in UK will be co-produced by Laura Ziskin and George Clooney, who may possibly even star in its film adaptation as well. The original UK playwright Lucy Prebble has sold the film rights but will be writing the screenplay for its movie remake, while the rest of the British cast won’t be involved.
