Anchorman 2 getting R-rated re-release

0

It appears that when we all went out to the theaters to see Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues we weren’t getting the legit version of the film. You know the one that was rated R and had all the bad words in it. That movie is over two hours long and would normally be seen on the home release, but Paramount has other plans.

Beginning on February 28th and running for only one week an extended edit of the movie called
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues: Super Sized R Rated Version. Word is that almost every joke in the film has been replaced (no really) except for a few that had to be left for continuity. It’s basically an entirely different film since they had so much left over thanks to the cast basically improvising half the movie. Every joke will be different and thanks to the ease of digital editing and distribution we’ll be able to see all those jokes on the big screen. This actually is kind of a big deal.
