And We’re Live!

I can start writing right? I’d feel like a tool if I just wrote something here in this area…like stepping on the grass with a sign that reads “Stay off the grass”

Whatever.

I was originally going to write an artsy piece about Tarantino.

But then I thought to myself “No, I don’t want to write a film blog….not at the moment at least.”

It’d be hard to describe the feeling I, and I’m sure many of you get, when you sit down in that movie theater for a movie that you will see for the very first time.

Excited? Eager? I myself can’t put words to it.

Painful is the stress when one cannot reproduce or convey vividly to others, however hard he tries, what he’s experienced so intensely.

– Haruki Murakami

This is the quote I think about whenever I write a blog.

Call it inadequacy or low self-esteem, but I always feel like I would have trouble clearly iterating my thoughts about things……today

Since I have run out of things to say, I will end this with a list of my favor

Since I have run out of things to say, I will end this with a list of my favorite movie scenes in no particular order.

(Note: I'm not a huge Stanley Kubrick fan, but he sure knows how to command a scene.)

(Okay, not really a scene per se, but still counts I think)

(It says something about a scene when I got distracted and forgot about the blog while watching that scene)

(Not shown, the fight scene from Anchorman)

There's a lot more, but now I feel like I'm spamming.

I guess I'm excited because this is the first movie site I'm a member of and I look forward to the future.

Do any of you have any favorite scenes?
