By Possibly joining the likes of Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt in Disney’s adaptation of the Broadway musical Into the Woods, is Anna Kendrick (most likely thanks to her recent re-showing of her musical chops in the popular Pitch Perfect). Kendrick is currently in talks to play the film’s version of Cinderella, and that makes perfect sense.
Into the Woods is a musical about a cursed baker and his wife as they journey into the woods to remove the curse. And on the way, they encounter famous fairy tale characters like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, etc. Point is, Anna Kendrick will pretty much be a Disney Princess. And that’s…just great. And she’ll be singing? I can’t take this anymore. I think I need to lie down.
