By We already knew Arnold Schwarzenegger was going full-on Last of Us with his upcoming movie Maggie. When the first trailer dropped last month, we saw the Man formerly known as Turbo playing small-town farmer Wade, a guy who just wants to protect his young daughter (Abigail Breslin) as she slowly becomes a zombie. See, the government is rounding up and taking out any and all infected, and not even the offspring of a guy who has definitely never been the governor of California are safe.
The poster is nothing special – Schwarzenegger looking serious and concerned, Breslin looking bored and vaguely zombie-like, a lot of washed out colors. But it’s worth a look, especially considering the film has a lot of good buzz and that first trailer looked pretty good. Maggie will make its global premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival when it starts next week before hitting theaters sometime in May. Expect our review later this month.
