By Art and design blog The Fox is Black recently held a contest inviting artists and designers from all over the world to create some new and incredible posters for the infamous Japanese horror-thriller movie Battle Royale, and man, the results are awesome.
The entries range in all kinds of styles from posters that are enigmatic and metaphorical to ones that are all bloody and echo the movie’s in-your-face violence. I’ve included a few of my favorite posters in the gallery below, but you can check out more here. The winning design was created by Keorattana Luangrathajasombat, and while it’s pretty awesome, it’s not particularly my favorite of the bunch.
