Avatar 2 & 3 to be released back to back

 

James Cameron announced he will be shooting Avatar 2 & 3 back to back, to be released in 2014 and 2015. In addition, he gave us tiny little bits about the greater story over the next two movies. They will be, according to Cameron, “self-contained stories that also fulfill a greater story arc.” In addition, look forward to Cameron and crew, “not back[ing] off the throttle of Avatar’s visual and emotional horsepower, which touched the hearts of audiences in all cultures around the world. I’m looking forward to returning to Pandora, a world where our imaginations can run wild.”

So Avatar fans are in a good mood this afternoon!
