Here’s a little weird tidbit that managed to escape everyones attention during the excitement that was the MTV Movie Awards [/sarcasm]. When Robert Van Winkle aka Vanilla Ice was walking down the red carpet (once again solidifying the importance of the MTV Movie Awards), the Ice Man was asked if he’ll be participating in the Michael Bay produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. His answer? A vague “I can’t say anything about that!”. He goes on to call himself a ninja, show his ugly TMNT tattoo and state how he would love to produce a remix or updated version of the infamous “Ninja Rap”.
Now I’ll admit, the Ninja Rap was a song I remembered the lyrics to front to back when I was a wee child, but that’s probably a part of TMNT history that’s best left in the past. I say maybe throw Robbie a quick cameo so he feels better about life. Also, if we’re doing that, get a cameo from Ernie Rayes Jr. aka Keno from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. Also while you’re at it, convince Ernie Reyes Jr. to make a sequel to Surf Ninjas. Yea … do all that Bay and I’ll forgive you for your whole career.
