Family get togethers suck. There’s no doubt about it. It’s only that much worse when we have to introduce our girlfriend to our racist, news-obsessed, paranoid dad. We’ve all been there.
Add to that some sort of epidemic, an extreme lockdown, injections, aliens, and a TV telling you what to do, and you got yourself a pretty shitty Christmas on your hands.
That’s just what’s in store in Johnny Kevorkian’s latest, Await Further Instructions. It looks cool. The trailer definitely shows off bouts of erratic violence and familial dysfunction. There’s a bit of humor, a lot of strangeness, and some nice looking effects. I’m always down for maniacs and body horror, and this looks to have both in spades.
