By In the midst of the contemporary movie poster era rises (pun intended) this fully illustrated, fan-made poster for The Dark Knight Rises to remind us that movie posters can still be intricate and aesthetically pleasing. I really wish that all adventure/action films these days were illustrated posters like this. It truly encompasses that film’s style and even acts to foreshadow the premise in an epic and visually inspiring way. Something just glows about it and elevates it to mythical heights… Call me old-fashioned, but I think that’s what every film should aspire to be.
