By Last week, we reported that The Dark Knight Rises, while in New York City, would be filming the Occupy Wall Street protests as a backdrop/supplemental footage to material already in the film. This rumor, however, has proven false, as representatives from Warner Bros. have told EW that no such plans exist. The film has been scheduled to shoot in New York for months in advance.
I like to think that this is all a smokescreen, and that the real plot of Dark Knight Rises is that Batman prepares to take back power from the 99% of people that control so little of the wealth, because f**k those little brats. Don’t you know who I am? I’m the goddamned Batman.
