Batman vs. Superman delayed until 2016

It looks like 2015 is going to get a bit more breathing room. Instead of releasing next year to many fans’ distress since the film still doesn’t have an official title and seemingly adds more and more Super Friends everyday, Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel (which we’ve been unofficially referring to as Batman vs. Superman) is now releasing May 6, 2016 as it’s bumped from its former July 2015 date.

Taking its spot is Warner Bros. Peter Pan reboot thing instead, and this is probably the best decision anyone could make regarding this movie. While I’m pretty sure this is going to disappoint everyone is some shape or form, I’m still cautiously optimistic since I’m going to see Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman in the same movie. I’d rather them take their time with it rather than hastily capitalized on whatever success Man of Steel might of had. This is going to be its own beast, for sure. Then again, they could still blow it all up if they don’t finish that script yet.
