Behind the scenes video: The faces of ParaNorman

We all know somewhere in the back of our heads that stop motion animation takes an insane amount of work, but it isn’t until you see behind the scenes things like the above video that you really begin to understand just how much work feature-length stop motion animation movies really are! This video takes us behind the scenes at Laika Studios, the animation company that brought us the well-received Coraline, and the just released ParaNorman.

The video even includes a “recipe” for baking your own stop motion face, including directions such as “put all those [ingredients] together and bake for 127 human years.” ParaNorman is in theaters now!
