Blade Runner redone as actual Noir film

0

While it might not be the most original idea ever, considering Blade Runner, is the epitome of neo-Noir films, this cleverly done trailer does have something going for it. YouTube user Chet Desmond put it together, pulling Blade Runner into the 1940s style Noir films that influenced it. Again, not the biggest challenge, but definitely well done.

I might have made a few different musical choices, but the title font is perfect and once the trailer gets going it starts working wonders. Before you start clamoring for some sort of black and white redux of Blade Runner, really think about how well that would work. I don’t think it would. The muted colors and heavy, colored shadows are one of the things that make the world of Blade Runner so memorable so why ditch them?
