Box Office Numbers: Gone Roguin’

0

Dethroning Ant-Man, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation conquered the top of the box office with $56 million. As we’re reaching the tale end of Summer, we don’t have a lot of big releases left over. So I’d expect M:I to hold strong. It won’t win out by the end of Summer (that honor unfortunately goes to Jurassic World), but hey that’s something.

Rounding out the top three are Vacation and Ant-Man with $14 million and $12 million respectively. In an unrelated, but related, note, I also saw Dragonball Z: Resurrection F last weekend. It’s pretty good.

Hit the jump for the rest of the box office performances for the first weekend of August.
