Box Office Numbers: It’s Weegee Time

0

Since it was the weekend before Halloween and everyone’s in a mood to watch a scary movie, and there wasn’t a better option than Ouija available, “Weegee” took the top spot at the box office with $20 million in actual money dollars. John Wick, the surprising Keanu Reeves action flick, took second with $14 million, and Fury, the super good war film, rounds out the top three with $13 million.

After word of mouth kicks in, I’m sure the top two will switch (unless Nightcrawler makes a dent) as more and more folks will realize there are better horror options on Netflix than in the theater.

Hit the jump for the box office performances for the October 24-27 weekend.
