Box Office Numbers: Madagascar 3 at the Top

Not much to say about this weekend’s box office. Madagascar 3 outsold the newly released Rock of Ages and That’s My Boy. Once again, Moonrise Kingdom has continued selling despite its minute number of theaters screening the film. Prometheus continues to sell moderately well, but what will it take to overtake Madagascar 3? Maybe if Ridley Scott incorporated CG animals into the film…
