Box Office Numbers: The dark night

What good are box office sales in the wake of a tragedy? In light of this past weekend’s events, Warner Bros. has decided to withhold the exact amount of ticket sales for this weekend’s The Dark Knight Rises, at least until midday today. It’s fitting, however, because I was going to refrain from posting the weekend’s sales anyways. So, for at least one week, we can collect ourselves and reflect on this weekend’s film’s merits and not their income production.
