By Fantasy mastermind Guillermo Del Toro’s next film, Pacific Rim, sounds like a doozy. If our report from a few months ago prove to be correct, we’re in for a neat ride. It features robot suits, monsters, destruction, action, adventure, explosions, and apparently… Charlie Day?
First Showing reports Day is in talks to join the fun-filled film. They’re claiming Day’s role might be for a professor, which would probably be cool, but I hope it won’t keep him from showing off the shenanigans we all know and love him for. Then again, it’d be a good change of pace to see him play a character that wasn’t absolutely crazy.
No matter what, though, I hope he gets in some quality action scenes. Remember, he is a master of karate and friendship for everyone.
