By Earlier this morning Entertainment Weekly debuted these awesome posters via Mondo for Guillermo del Toro’s forthcoming monster-robot action movie Pacific Rim. There’s four different posters by three different artists. The black and gray poster is by Vania Zouravliov, the longer poster with both the mecha and kaiju is by Kevin Tong (a Mondo staple), and the two fiery companion posters are by Ash Thorp.
According to Mondo CEO Justin Ishmael, del Toro was integral in the process of creating these posters, “he helped hand pick the artist and gave notes on the designs. We’re all very proud to have worked on this project with him.” The posters will be available at San Diego Comic Con, which is coming up next week, and are apparently just a small sampling of what Mondo will have available there. Pacific Rim will crash into theaters this weekend! Go see it and let us know what you think!
