By It’s kind of cool how some objects become so integral to the look or story of a beloved movie that they become iconic on their own, like the cat in the Matrix or the snake staff in Aladdin. French artist Maxime Pecourt has created these cool posters for a bunch of well known movies using a rather unique approach, arranging a bunch of iconic items or props from each movie into a larger iconic symbol to represent the movie itself.
My former screenwriting teacher used to always tell us not to forget to write props into our scripts because it’s such an important part of storytelling that easily gets forgotten. And she’s right! Just think about how different all these movies would be without these items!
