Check out this awesome Drive vinyl reissue

When I think of Drive, I think of the 1980s, especially when it comes to its original soundtrack. The artwork for the original soundtrack was boring, and not very much representative of what the music had to offer. Basically it was Ryan Gosling with his back to the cover and the logo for the film. Not much to offer really.

There is a vinyl reissue being released that has some awesome artwork by poster artist Tyler Stout. The LP will be sold in person at the Mondo Gallery in Austin on March 15 and through their website on March 22. According to Pitchfork, it is a 2xLP set with gatefold sleeve on black vinyl, but random copies will be pressed on hot pink vinyl.

The track list will be featuring the original score by Cliff Martinez with tracks by Kavinsky and Lovefoxxx, College, Riz Ortolani, and others. So if you were expecting a new song to be released, you are out of luck.

There will also be a standalone film poster from Stout. So if you just want the poster and not the reissued vinyl, you can go ahead and do that. But you’ll be missing out on a great work of album art. Check out the gallery below for a better what the album art and film poster will look like.
