The Chris Evans starring past-lives drama Infinite is set for an August 7, 2020 release date. Directed by Antoine Fuqua (famous for Training Day), Infinite will be an adaptation of the novel The Reincarnationist Papers by novelist D. Eric Maikranz. That story centered on “The Cognomina,” a secret society of people that retain the knowledge of their past lives after death. Evans will likely play the lead character, a man that is haunted by memories of multiple past lives and stumbles upon the hidden society.

Infinite will be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian of Bonaventura Pictures along with John Zaozirnny. The screenplay will be adapted by John Lee Hancock and Ian Shoor. The release date for Infinite was originally occupied by the untitled sequel to Eddie Murphy’s Coming to America, which has now been pushed back four months to December 18, 2020.
