By No matter where you find yourself on the political spectrum, there’s likely a place for you to find agreement with the following statement: politics and the mainstream news are a circus and someone needs to help me laugh about it, because inside, it doesn’t feel too good.
Apparently, Comedy Central agrees, and thus we get The President Show, starring comedian Anthony Atamanuik.
The premise? President Donald Trump decides to bypass the mainstream media and other traditional elements of free press where he needn’t bother fielding questions, or answering questions posed by someone else, or well, you know … reality, only, he’s going to have his own TV show (again) instead of just staying up all night using Twitter.
The program will run Thursday evenings, following The Daily Show, at 11:30pm.
