Contagion poster plays on fears of germs and geography

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been super-excited for Steven Soderbergh’s Contagion ever since the trailer dropped. It’ got a stellar cast, beautiful cinematography, and Gwyneth Paltrow dies within the first few minutes. It’s looking to be the greatest virus outbreak movie since…well, since Outbreak. The poster art was released today (after the jump), and while very minimalistic, the biohazard tape along with the names of major cities spelling out Contagion is quite subtle yet effective. Also, they’re not picking on New York, and that’s always a plus as my beloved city is usually the first to go.

I know Google exists and all, but I must ask, what/where the hell is Macau?
