It’s almost time to return to Middle Earth, people. After years of struggle, enough false starts to almost call the whole thing off, the return of Peter Jackson to the franchise and the unexpected stretching of a short children’s book into three epic films we are finally near the release of The Hobbit. And for 40 lucky Flixist readers you’re even closer than you think. We have 20 admit-two passes to see The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey early on December 11 in the DC area.

Full screening details are below, but be warned this is an High Frame Rate 3D screening, meaning you’ll be seeing it in the fanciest of fancy formats. The passes will be doled out via individual Gofobo code. Once you get yours you just head there and pop it in to get your passes.

How do you get yours exactly? By getting in touche with us any way you can. Either leave a comment below, send us a tweet or post on our Facebook page. It’s that’s simple. We’ll get you a code and you and a friend/spouse/lover/stranger will be on your way to seeing one of the biggest movies of the year before all your friends.

For those that miss out, don’t worry. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens in Real D 3D, HFR 3D and IMAX 3D on December 14. If you’d like to know where you can see the film in HFR check out our handy list: Where to see The Hobbit in 48 fps.
