By Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame looks like it’s shaping up to be an intense mix of murder mystery solving, hand-to-hand combat in slow motion and goofiness. With a Chinese steampunk twist, that is. The story is about China’s first female Supreme Empress, a series of murders following her, and the detective she hires to get to the bottom of the killings: Detective Dee.
