Production has come to a halt on the highly anticipated The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Disney+ series in Prague. Reports from Variety and Deadline indicate that because of the widespread concerns about the spread of Coronavirus they had no choice but to shut down production and the cast has even been recalled to the United States. The team only started filming a week ago, but after the Czech Government enforced strict new bans they had no choice, the notable Prague Film Festival has even been canceled.

Sadly this will be the second time production on this series has been impacted. First, it was due to earthquakes now it’s because of a virus. There has been no word yet on when filming will resume but ultimately safety and health comes first. The six-episode series is still slated to air on Disney+ this August but this may change as world events evolve.
