By Possibly the most surprising part of this news is that this film has been in development since 2015, i.e. it’s not even a new idea. With Michael Bay, master of explosions and honorary Mythbuster, attached to produce look for a very different Dora. Perhaps even a more grown up Dora?
I wouldn’t be surprised to find that this is a King Kong crossover with Kong to star as Dora’s faithful monkey sidekick Boots. Dora would certainly be poised to cause more explosions that way. And with Neighbors and Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nick Stoller attached to helm, anything’s possible.
