By Hollywood’s two Snow White adaptions keep on . . . going. The dueling Snow White films are being produced by Relativity media and Universal, respectively. The word is that in order to get the jump on Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman, staring Kristen Stewart as the pale-princess, Relativity’s Tarsem Singh Snow White project, staring Lily Collins, has sped up its schedule and will begin filming this month.
Snow White and the Huntsman, meanwhile, is going to have its script rewritten by screenwriter Hossein Amini. The rumors are that the new rewrite will incorporate a love triangle between Stewart’s Snow White, Sam Claflin’s Prince Charming, and Chris Hemsworth’s Huntsman. At least Stewart has some acting experience with this sort of story. Though I still can’t help but wonder why the world needs two Snow White re-imaginings in one year. Maybe it’s just me.
