By Elizabeth Olsen is full-on Reaganing following her much-acclaimed performance in indie drama Martha Marcy May Marlene, a streak she’ll be hoping to continue with thriller Kill Your Darlings, in which she’ll star alongside retired wizard Daniel Radcliffe. John Krokidas will be making his directorial debut in addition to providing the script.
The film tracks the coming together of the writers who would go on to kick off the Beat Generation, with Olsen set to play Edie Parker and Radcliffe set to hold onto those famous glasses for his role as Allen Ginsberg. Jack Huston has also signed on to play Jack Kerouac (Edie Parker’s boyf) and Dane DeHaan (In Treatment) will play Lucien Carr, who accidentally becomes involved in a murder while attending Columbia University and requires his friends to cover for him. Damn hippies!
