Emma Watson interview on her role in My Week With Marilyn

With the Harry Potter series almost over, we’re about to see Emma Watson thrown into the thick of the film industry as she takes on big roles and fights to become known for more than just her long lasting role as Hermione. After her acting being one of the very few things I really enjoyed in Deathly Hallows Part 1, I don’t doubt she’s capable of it, but a small part in a Marilyn Monroe movie certainly isn’t what I expected to see her in anytime soon. When asked about her role in the film, this is what she had to say:

“No, I play um, the film is about Colin Clark who was a runner on one of her movies and they had this kind of thing. But at the beginning of the movie he falls for the wardrobe assistant—moi—and then he runs off with Marilyn and dumps me for a while and then he gets older and wiser and comes back and begs for forgiveness and I give him another chance.”
