By You know, I say this every time, so even I’m sick of saying it, but I’m genuinely amazed that the Ender’s Game movie is happening, considering it’s been in development since close to the book’s initial release in 1985. Jesus, this book is older than I am. Anyway, producer Roberto Orci has launched the official production blog for the film, set to arrive in theaters March 13th, 2013. Obviously, at the moment, there’s only the one entry, welcoming everyone to the blog, but as production ramps up, I’d expect to see some set shots from the film, musings on the day’s production, etc.
I’m definitely going to be paying a lot of attention to this. Gavin Hood’s got a lot to answer for after how tremendously he dropped the ball on X-Men Origins: Wolverine, so hopefully we’ll see him redeem himself this time next year.
