By For the biopic The Last of Robin Hood, Dakota Fanning has just joined the cast of the film. The Last of Robin Hood focuses on Hollywood actor Errol Flynn, and the relationship he had with his teenage girlfriend and fellow actress Beverly Aadland. Kevin Kline will be portraying Errol Flynn, while Dakota Fanning will star opposite of him as Beverly Aadland. Susan Sarandon is also to star in this film as Aadland’s mother who accuses Flynn of having a sexual relationship with her 15 year-old daughter.
Directors Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland are used to doing controversial topics and shedding a different light on them. Take for example their 2006 film Quinceañera, where they shed a sympathetic light on teenage pregnancy. So expect the possibility of their being a sympathetic approach to how the relationship will be shown on the big screen.
