Feel the fear of god in new Saint Maud trailer

A24’s dropped a new trailer for this year’s elevated horror freakout, Saint Maud in celebration of Ash Wednesday. Needless to say, it’s not a reminder of god’s endless love.

It also doesn’t offer a whole lot of fresh material for us to feast our eyes upon. The nail-shoes and bloody strike are still the key standouts–but there is an added immolated Maud that’s pretty cool. It’s also a bit more frantically edited, which I think helps the overall vibe.

Any reminder of Saint Maud‘s second coming is more than enough for me, though. And it’s right around the corner, blessing theaters on April 3, 2020.
