First good look at Marvel/Disney’s Big Hero 6

0

Here we have our first look at how Disney and Marvel will be interpreting Big Hero 6 for the big screen and it looks kind of cute. Obviously they’re gearing the team more towards kids than the other Marvel properties as we see Hiro Hamada and his robot pal Baymax for the first time.

I haven’t read the comics, but things seem to be diverging a bit with Hiro leading the newly formed team right off the bat instead of Sunfire as a criminal plot threatens to destroy “the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo.” Should be an interesting test of what Walt Disney Animation Studios can do with an action property. I’m guessing it won’t be The Incredibles, but after Frozen anything is possible for them.

We should be seeing a trailer later this week.
