By It might be a little too early to call it, but I’m going for it. Judging by these few images of Guillermo Del Toro’s upcoming Crimson Peak, it’s going to be the greatest thing ever. A gothic horror film starring Jessica Chastain (who should just be in every movie, thank you), Tom Hiddleston, and Mia Wasikowska? And they’re all wearing great clothes? Oh and look at that house!
And the story details don’t disappoint:
A young woman (Wasikowska) is swept off by her feet by a charismatic suitor (Hiddleston) and taken back to his ancestral home. There she finds more than she bargained for, including a jealous sister (Chastain) and more than a few skeletons in the closet.
Wow, can it just be October please? I’ll definitely keep an eye out for more details on this. Hopefully we get a trailer soon. Crimson Peak releases October 16th.
