By Much in the same way Captain America was first revealed to our unsuspecting peepers, we’re getting our first look at Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, protagonist of the upcoming adaptation of The Hunger Games, from an Entertainment Weekly cover. As a fan of the books, she’s looking pretty damn good. She looks a little undernourished yet strong as hell. I can dig it. Granted, she’s also looking pretty put together and a but made up, but it’s a glamor shot. Check her out in the gallery below.
The film will begin shooting tomorrow in North Carolina, a perfect place to substitute in a decimated, hunger-stricken post-apocalyptic world.
