Total Film have posted the first pics of Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker from the set of Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man reboot. That’s him above, becoming the envy of all men everywhere by engaging in a quick snog with the funny and gorgeous Emma Stone (now in blonde!), who is playing Parker’s first love Gwen Stacy. Although the iconic suit has yet to be unveiled and not much is known yet about the plot, playing villains opposite Garfield’s Parker and Flixist favourite Emma Stone’s Stacy are Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors and Irrfan Khan (of Slumdog Millionaire fame) as Van Atter. You’ll know who those two are if you’re a fan of the comics, if not then you can find the appropriate spoilers on the film’s Wikipedia page. Martin Sheen and Sally Field pad out the cast as Parker’s uncle Ben and aunt May respectively.

Unfortunately, you may want to temper any anticipation you have for the film right now: its release date has been set over a year and a half away, on July 3rd 2012. Still, that’s a year and a half of finding ever-more gratuitous reasons to post linkage of the lovely Emma, so let’s not…
