First Red Band trailer for Deadpool is glorious

We’ve been anticipating this first bit of footage for some time. After all of the talk, all of the images, all of those years stuck in development, and all of the advertising, Deadpool is actually film that exists. The trailer is well cut (as it goes from standard comic book movie to something more fun), the jokes hit hard, and there’s so much blood. I can’t tell you how much of a relief it is to hear Deadpool scream “motherf**cker!” and cut a dude in half. 

Fox is definitely shooting for a cult audience with this one, and I’m glad they took the risk. 

Deadpool releases February next year.
