By I don’t think I’ve ever talked about how much I love Elijah Wood’s career. He’s willing to take chances on the weirdest, and most far out projects. He doesn’t always succeed, but he seems like the type of actor that’s game for any premise, and that always shines through his work. My favorite turn of his has to be from The Faculty. Sure he’s had more involving roles since then (and I would pick his most “normal” role), but I love that he was in such a weird flick.
Speaking of weird flicks, here’s the trailer for Cooties, a horror comedy where the zombie virus doesn’t affect anyone that’s gone through puberty. A group of teachers (including Rainn Wilson and Alison Pill) get stuck in an elementary school cafeteria and shenanigans happen. Cooties releases September 18th.
