I don’t think I’ve ever talked about it here, but Dragonball Z: Battle of Gods was one of the funnest animated films I saw last year. Didn’t give it enough credit because it was essentially an hour of a dude punching a giant rabbit in the face, but hey it worked. Now we’ve got the first Japanese trailer for the follow up, Dragonball Z: Fukkatsu no F (or Resurrection of F).
First of all, this looks fantastic. This is basically what I imagined Dragonball Z could look like when I saw it as a kid. Frieza’s coming back in a new (somewhat plain) form, the Z Warriors are in a giant battle royale, and the Earth totally blows up. But I’ll wait for the English dub since the Japanese cast never quite sounded right to me. Dragonball Z: Fukkatsu no F opens in Japanese theaters this April.
