First trailer for Eli Roth’s Green Inferno

0

Eli Roth’s Green Inferno got plenty of folks talking when it screened at TIFF last year. You can probably guess why considering its a movie by Eli Roth that is clearly heavily influenced by the cult film Cannibal Holocaust. That combination sounds like it will get as graphic and disgusting as possible.

Roth hasn’t made a film since the underrated Cabin Fever so there’s probably plenty of pent up aggression waiting to spill out, but this trailer keeps it very simple. Surprisingly relying on tension and the tease of gore instead of the actual gore itself. It’s also pretty damn classy for a slasher film trailer, which are usually full of a bit more jump cuts and bad scares. Don’t worry too much, we’ll all get to see the blood and guts when the film releases on September 15.
